The Odyssey tells of the coming of age of Odysseus’ son, Telemachus, and the coming home story of Odysseus. Homer weaves these together in a masterwork that teaches you perennial truths on the human condition through subtle imagery and the poetic dialectic (always remember that some claim Plato learned his dialectic from Homer).
